The Ossola Valley offers the opportunity to reach easily about 150 km of prepared downhill slopes. Cross-country skiing in Santa Maria Maggiore (Vigezzo valley), Macugnaga-Monte Rosa 4635 m. (Anzasca valley); Riale 1800 m. (Formazza valley) and Alpe Devero Natural Park. Thanks to its natural environment with lakes and mountains which offers a vertical drop of more than 4400 meters, sportive activities are almost unlimited.
